Family and friends are forever indebted to the hundreds of people who have so far helped to support Alex’s recovery. So many of you have kindly donated money, organised and taken part in sponsored events to raise the funds. Many of you have bought T-Shirts and we are starting to share your wonderful photographs in Your Pictures page on this site.

Initially this was to help pay for the wonderful air ambulance service provided by Air Med, who brought Alex back to the John Radcliffe Hospital, England, on 2 February 2012. Alex was then moved to the Oxford Centre for Enablement in March and is set to stay there until 3 October 2012. He has now moved to a Care Home in Amersham, whilst his wife Tamsyn awaits rehousing to accommodate Alex which is currently impossible in their present house. The support has been incredible, the NHS amazing, and we have been truly overwhelmed by people wanting to help in so many ways. Yet, so many more fund raising events are being held to raise much needed and on-going funding to help pay for future rehabilitation costs - which will include physio and speech therapy – so continued support is required.
