Tamsyn’s story
I find myself a ‘single mum’ with four kids (aged 4 to 8), after my husband suffered a head injury on October 4th 2011.
It started as just another ordinary day. In the morning we had fun down the beach as a family. Yet, things were about to change.
Life changed in a split second
My life went from the blogs you can read here on my Manic Mum’s Blog before Oct 4th to now.
After two life saving brain operations, three and a half months in ICU, Alex is now in neuro-reeducation. His recovery will take years, and one thing that they say will not come back is his sight. I live with hope, as against all odds Alex has made amazing progress.
Head on Help
My life is now being determined and positive and holding on to the hope that he will, one day, be Alex again… I am also starting up another blog called Head on Help to aid others struggling to understand what help is available for family or friends who have suffered a head injury.
With 4 young kids, I can be no other way…Life is precious…
Now my life changes every day in different ways. I am so touched by the kindness of not only the local community in Thame, but by so many of you who have already done so much to help.
Thank you simply isn’t enough.
