Welcome to Alex’s website…

This site has been set up for Alex Wood, a remarkable 33-yr-old son, brother, husband and father-of-four, with a passion for all things surf. Following a tragic head injury on 4 October 2011, sustained during rugby training, Alex was hospitalised and suffered a massive brain bleed. Two life-saving brain operations were a success, but ten weeks in a coma caused enormous heartache and concern for family and friends. Alex's parents, Anne and Pete, relocated to France to be near to Alex, their grandchildren and Alex's wife, Tamsyn. Find out more
